Get Involved with NHS Mental Health Recovery College

Get Involved with NHS Mental Health Recovery College thumbnail

From NHS Partnership Trust:

As you may be aware we are developing a Recovery College. This will provide a range of educational courses and resources for people with lived mental health experience, their friends, family and Trust staff.

The college will begin by offering some pilot courses in early summer and will use a recovery based approach to help people recognise and develop their personal resourcefulness in order to become experts in their own self care, make informed choices about the assistance they need to do this, and do the things they want to in life.

We have set up a USER AND CARER REFERENCE GROUP to help with the development of the Recovery College and test ideas, concepts and processes and gather views.

The group meets monthly and the next meeting is Thursday 28 March 2pm – 4pm at the Involvement Centre in the Bradgate Unit.

Would you like to help in the development of our Recovery College?

As part of the development of the Recovery College the next user and carer reference group has been set up and will focus on Communications/Publicity. If you would like to join us please contact us on (0116) 295 1196 or by email at recoverycollege@leicspart.nhs.uk.

It would be great to see you there.

The next meeting is planned to take place on:

Thursday 28th March

2 pm – 4 pm

At the Involvement Centre in the Bradgate Unit (Glenfield Hospital Site)
