Survey on Impact of Religion & Ethnicity on Swimming Participation thumbnail

The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and Sporting Equals are currently surveying Non-White British groups on the impact of religion and ethnicity on participation in swimming e.g. does religion or ethnicity impact prevent you from swimming or swimming as much as you like when you like. The views of swimmers and non-swimmers are being collected.

Please see that attached letter for further information. A national report on the findings will be released when the research has been completed to influence policy at local and national level.

An on-line survey for individuals can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ASA_Mar2013 (Please enter data collector question 3 as Zoe Calder)

The ASA are also looking to visit local Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community groups to survey members at any group sessions you may be holding.

If you willing for Zoe to visit your organisation please contact Zoe Calder on 07818 066 743 or email Zoe at data05asa@gmail.com  A small incentive of a shopping voucher is available to participating organisations
