The Jenkins Centre for Domestic Violence Interventions

The Jenkins Centre for Domestic Violence Interventions thumbnail

From the The Jenkins Centre:

A new service aimed at those people in the Leicester City Area who use domestic violence in intimate partner relationships.

The Jenkins Centre is a partnership between DVIRP (Domestic Violence Integrated Response Project) and Respect (a national DV organisation) and provides a range of interventions to help people end their use of abusive behaviour in relationships alongside a partner support service and a community programme.

The service is free to anyone is Leicester City who has concerns about their behaviour and is motivated to change this. The Jenkins Centre can provide an assessment and needs identification process constructing an individual change plan for people who enter the Centre’s intervention programmes.

In addition to our Interventions work, our Change Builders Programme aims to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse across communities and encourage people to seek help for their abusive behaviour.  The Jenkins centre can also provide training for professionals, group sessions for young people and deliver awareness campaigns in the local community.

If you would like any further information with regards to this, or to book an initial introductory meeting please do not hesitate to contact me on the following details
