From Nicky Mawer:

As you may be aware we are developing a Recovery College in Leicester. This will provide a range of educational courses and resources for people with lived mental health experience and their friends, family and loved ones.

We are looking for a number of part-time peer volunteers to support the college and are holding an informal information event so people can come along for a chat and learn more about the college and these volunteering roles.

·        admin/reception/general support

·        student support/study buddies

·        peer tutors

This recruitment information event is on Friday 1st March 1.30pm – 3.30pm at the Involvement Centre, Bradgate Unit, Glenfield Hospital Site.

Volunteer role descriptions will be available to look at on the day and will also be posted online from w/c 25th Feb along with the LPT volunteering application form www.leicspt.nhs.uk
