*       Family cycle hire – located in beautiful woodland at the heart of the National Forest, Hicks Lodge Café and Cycle Centre provides a variety of trails aimed at all skill levels for an enjoyable family day out. It also boasts a picnic area and a stunning eco-friendly visitor centre with café, bike hire and repair shop, showers and a wood-burning stove
*       Tobogganing – Swadlincote Ski Slope and Snowboard Centre is home to the exhilarating Cresta Run toboggan downhill ride.
