Nominate a Local Hero with The Almanack

From The Almanack:

As you may know, for every Caesar Salad that we sell, we donate 25p to charity which is up to £1000 a year. Well, with the new year, we have a new plan!

 We have set up the Peach Foundation with the aim of supporting local individuals who are passionately promoting and living our values and making a real difference to our local area.
To do this we need your help to find and nominate local heroes. They don’t need to work for a charity but they do need to be someone who makes a difference locally in one of these areas…
• Food Provenance – happy animals/tasty fruit and vegetables
• Healthy Eating – promoting better health in the community
• Sports Education – promoting and/or providing local sports facilities for all
• Planetary Hero – saving our planet one small step at a time
The most important thing is that they strive to make a positive difference locally.
If you could take a couple of minutes to  nominate your hero, in a week’s time we will share with you the top 3 nominees and ask for your help once more to vote for the winner.
