Leicester-Shire & Rutland’s GOT TALENT!
Time to Vote for Your Favourite!
Young singers, dancers, a magician, a football freestyler and other performers from across Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland are competing for the chance to perform at the Spring School Games Championships taking place at Loughborough University in March.
The Leicester-Shire & Rutland School Games Local Organising Committee (LOC) ran a talent variety competition between 10th December 2012 and 1st February 2013 which was open to all young people aged 5 to 19-years-old from schools and colleges across Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland, to showcase their skills and talents.
The competition was part of the Leicester-Shire & Rutland School Games programme, which is part of a national programme to motivate and inspire young people to take part in more competitive school sport.
The following groups and individuals entered the tournament: · EM Studio ~ Dance Troup ~ Leicester City Schools· Bob Cliffe ~ Electric Guitar ~ Casterton Business & Enterprise College· Alice Eva ~ Singing/Guitar ~ Casterton Business & Enterprise College· Abi & Georgia ~ Singing/Dancing ~ Sherard Primary School· Sam Garton ~ Magic Tricks ~ Sherard Primary School· Amber, Harry & Ellie ~ Singing/Performing ~ Ibstock Community College· Jessie Auciello ~ Singing ~ Casterton Business & Enterprise College· Yoana Yankova ~ Hula-Hooping ~ Redmoor High School· Ollie Bassett ~ Football Freestyle ~ Ashby School Three
Individuals/groups can now win themselves the opportunity to perform at the Opening/Closing Ceremony in front of thousands of young people and spectators at the Spring School Games Championships on 22nd March at Loughborough University!
Between now and midnight on 22nd February 2013, the public, friends, family and supporters are able view all of the entries online and vote for their favourite!
