The Heritage Impact Centre

From The Race Equality Centre e-bulletin:

The Race Equality Centre is working to deliver a new, interactive educational and entertainment resource for Leicester – The Heritage Impact Centre.

There is a long history of positive contributions to British society from racial minority communities; the outcomes of which have been significant in developing and establishing the social and cultural fabric of contemporary Britain.

These contributions matter because contemporary Britain would be fundamentally different, otherwise. TREC, together with partners, is seeking to develop a space that will be a focal point for on-going education and research and enhanced awareness to challenge preconceptions, and so to begin dialogue within the public, private and voluntary sectors and the communities they serve (locally, nationally and internationally).
