Important Consultations for Gypsies & Travellers

There are a number of consultations in process at present which may have a serious effect on the lives of Gypsies and Travellers. It is very important that people put in responses to these consultations because, in previous consultations carried out over the past couple of years, significant changes have been made as a result of responses to consultations.

The three consultations that Gypsies and Travellers and interested parties need to respond to are:

1. Changes to Temporary Stop Notices consultation
2. Changes to the Education Act that could affect Gypsy and Traveller Children
3. Application of the Mobile Homes Act to Welsh local authority Gypsy and Traveller sites
