Out of place: Exploring the criminalisation of sexually exploited girls and young women

This event is being held as part of the Scarman Lecture Series, run by the Department of Criminology at the University of Leicester.
The lecture will draw on Professor Jo Phoenix’s extensive research background in sexual exploitation, prostitution and youth justice to examine the way that practitioners make decisions about whether or not to prosecute and use criminal justice sanctions against sexually exploited girls.
