Involving Volunteers in Fundraising at VAL Volunteering Forum

Involving Volunteers in Fundraising at VAL Volunteering Forum thumbnail

Voluntary Action LeicesterShire runs a quarterly Volunteering Network, a sort of informal club for people who manage volunteers. Its’ purpose is to exchange information, hear about developments in the world of volunteering locally and nationally, and to network, learn and perhaps get a bit inspired.

The next forum will be held:
on Wednesday 20th February
from  9:30 until 12:30 with lunch
at Voluntary Action LeicesterShire, 9 Newarke Street, Leicester LE1 5SN

This time the main training topic is Involving Volunteers in Fundraising. There will be a choice of two workshops; form filling and letter writing, and running activities and events  to raise money from the public directly.

There will also be other discussion topics and updates about changes affecting the world of volunteering, as well as plenty of opportunity to network with others doing the same sort of work.  The agenda is attached.
To book a place please click here.  Feel free to book more than one person per organisation should you want to.
