From Varsha Parmar:
We sent out the notice for the End of Project conference for the Hate Incident Action Project last year towards the Christmas break and this is a reminder to book your place.
The conference is on Thursday 24th January 2013 at John Storer House, Loughborough from 10am to 1pm followed by lunch.
We have a high profile key note speaker, Sylvia Lancaster, whose daughter Sophie was kicked to death in 2007 simply for dressing differently.
There will also presentations from other agencies including the Police, Charnwood Borough Council, Victim Support and the Hate Incident Monitoring Project.
The event will highlight the achievements of the project and inform of post project arrangements made with local agencies.
Can we please urge everyone to attend and confirm your attendance by Wednesday 16th Jan (for catering purposes).
