As part of the response to the national Localism and Big Society agendas, Leicestershire County Council are currently working with our private sector partner ‘Go MAD Thinking’ to develop the ‘Think Leicestershire’ programme. Think Leicestershire is a programme which will aim to recruit a network of volunteer community coaches across the County, who will help people within their community (and other communities) to make things happen, supported by an on-line resource of coaching and thinking tools.
This is a partnership session, run by Go MAD Thinking, which will provide an overview of the Go MAD Framework and give you an opportunity to try some of their tools and techniques.
There are still places for this session available and we are keen to involve a range of partners from the public and voluntary sectors to attend the Discovery Day.
If you are interested in coming along to the Discover Day, to get the headlines about the Think Leicestershire programme, and an opportunity to explore how it relates to your work, please let me know by responding to this e-mail.
