Hollywood & Politics Film Course at Phoenix

With the American presidential race in full swing, Phoenix in Leicester is running a one day course for anyone keen to learn about Hollywood’s special relationship with American politics on 10th November from 10am-4pm. 

 From the McCarthy ‘witch hunts’, through the Cold War and on to the ‘War on Terror’, Hollywood has both exploited and held up a mirror to the political issues of the day.

The course will explore some of the key political films from the last sixty years. £25/£20 conc.
