Soft Touch Arts is organising a young people-led creative workshop, performance and information exchange day in Leicester on Saturday 19 May on behalf of The Mighty Creatives – TMC.
The workshop is part of a region-wide initiative and events will be taking place in Nottingham, Derby, Northampton and Leicester at the same time with a digital feed from all events to a central online platform.
We are looking for organisations that use the arts with young people to attend the Leicester event and bring information about what you do.
You can book a free stall/exhibition space, or a group of young people you are working with can run their own workshop or performance to showcase what you offer.

This is your opportunity to let young people in the city and The Mighty Creatives know what creative activities and projects you offer.
The event will take place between 10-4pm on Saturday 19 May at Embrace Arts, Lancaster Road, Leicester.
There will be an emphasis on 0-13-year olds in the morning and 13–19-year olds in the afternoon.
TMC is the new Arts Council-funded ‘bridge organisation’ for young people’s participation and enjoyment of the arts for the East Midlands, and will have considerable influence and involvement in increasing young people’s participation in the arts. They will also be looking at commissioning organisations to deliver work with young people.
Please get back to us if you would like a stall/exhibition stand, if you have an idea for a young-people led workshop, or you know young people that would like to perform. We have limited space so please contact us as soon as possible. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
