Event Offers Business Tips on Energy Efficiency

Local businesses can pick up some hints and tips about managing energy costs and cutting carbon emissions at a free event at Leicester Creative Business Depot.

The event has been organised by Leicester City Council and will provide information about the benefits of intelligent energy metering and the local support available for companies that want to improve their energy efficiency.

It takes place on Tuesday, March 13, from 12noon to 2pm, at LCB Depot, 31 Rutland Street.

Cllr Rory Palmer, Deputy City Mayor with responsibility for climate change, said: “Events like this are a great way for local companies to learn about proven and effective measures that can be taken to cut energy bills and contribute to the city’s low carbon ambitions.”
