Local organizations wish to identify and give practical help and advice to people at most risk and offer practical help by providing:
· Winter warmer packs
· Emergency heating/water
· Hypothermia thermometers
· Roof space clearance to enable loft insulation
· Pipe lagging
· Electric blankets
· Advice on eating well and keeping warm etc.
4W2W aims to promote a countywide network of well informed volunteers and professional staff who may come into contact with vulnerable people through their daily life and work. By attending this awareness event you can:
· Help identify vulnerable people be able to recognise the signs of hypothermia
· Offer practical help and advice by understanding what is available to help
· Signpost people to the right places to get help
· Be part of the 4W2W legacy
These sessions aim to raise awareness and provide information on 4W2W and to encourage others to become involved in this campaign.
