Don’t miss the opportunity to influence Equality, Diversity and Community Cohesion work in Leicestershire!
Leicestershire County Council Equalities Consultation Event
17th February 2012
SPARKENHOE COMMITTEE ROOM, COUNTY HALL, GLENFIELD
We are currently consulting on our Single Equalities Action Plan and Community Cohesion Framework. These are important plans that set out what we will do in relation to our legal obligations under the Equality Act. It is really important that everyone has an opportunity to give their views and as part of the consultation activities, we are holding a day of open sessions for people to come and find out more and give their views and feedback. The sessions are open for everyone living and working in Leicestershire to attend and an opportunity to influence our equality, diversity and community cohesion work.
Consultation sessions will be held throughout the day at the following times:
- 10.00am- 12.30pm
- 1.00pm- 15.30pm
- 4.00pm-6.00pm
All sessions will be held in Sparkenhoe Committee Room, County Hall, Glenfield
The sessions will have a short introduction to the consultation, and are free for people to drop in and share their views in a number of ways. People are welcome to come and go within the timeslot and do not have to stay for the whole session. The Corporate Equalities Team will be on hand to answer any questions and provide support. The sessions will all have the same format but are taking place at different times to allow as many people as possible the flexibility to attend. Please feel free to forward this invitation on to your networks and encourage attendance.
Further information about the consultation and a booking form can be found on the link below.
If you have any queries about the event, please contact the Equalities Team on 0116 305 6059.
