International Day Against Hate Crime
Friday 28th October 10.20 – 1.30
Phoenix Digital Media Centre, Leicester
Stamp It Out and Citizen’s Eye invite you to join them to mark International Day Against Hate Crime.
Originally started by a group of volunteers in London to mark the anniversaries of the 1999 London Nail Bombings the day now focuses on Hope and Remembrance for all victims of hate incidents and crimes and encourages people around the world to take a united stand against all hate crimes.
The event will include a speech from Dr Loretta Trickett of Nottingham Trent University and the launch of two exciting new media projects by Citizen’s Eye, as well as an opportunity to see a number of different projects tackling hate crime and supporting people in our market place.
To book your free space please contact Darren Goddard via email darren.goddard8196@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk or call 0116 2482232.

Hello – Greetings from London, Great to see this happening in Leicestershire. Well done. If you could write a few words and send us a few photos of your event, and tell us how it went – and what you hope to achieve, we will glady post on our wordpress site and promote what your doing. We will be organising again next October. All the best. Mark Healey – Founder 17-24-30/Organiser of the London Vigil
