Foundation Degree (FDA) IN Managing Voluntary and Community Organisations Part-time Taught and Distance Learning 2010-2011
This course is available either by distance learning or by weekly face-to-face sessions in Leicester. The course aims to give students knowledge of the changing social, political and demographic contexts in which voluntary/community groups operate.
It will explore issues surrounding the setting up and effective management of voluntary organisations and will provide the skills and information needed to negotiate with official agencies and funders.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements are flexible and experience in the sector will be taken into account. Students will enter the programme with a combination of GCSEs or equivalent and relevant work experience. Post-16 qualifications are not a prerequisite.
Applications will be considered from people with an interest in, and experience of, related occupations but who do not possess formal qualifications.
Interviews are not normally required as part of the admissions process.

Course fees
The course costs £1,100 per, annum* for EU and home students. The fee for overseas students is £1,225 per annum*
