Have your say on walk

Interested users of Beaumont Walk can air their concerns and be the first to hear about new plans for the area at a meeting next week.

The meeting gives those concerned the chance to talk to city council parks officers about issues surrounding the management and development of the area, including vandalism and the possible installation of new play equipment.

Parks officer, Paul Barker, said: “We have user group meetings all over the city and it was the next logical step to have one for Beaumont Walk, to involve people in the spaces near them.

“It is a chance for us to listen to what people tell us as we are completely open minded about plans at the moment.”

Beaumont Walk Green Spaces user group’s first meeting will be held in Barleycroft Youth and Community Centre on Tuesday 16 February at 1.30pm and anyone is welcome.

For further detail’s contact Mr Barker on 0116 222 1010.
