Plants and Folklore, Religion and Decorations

Plants and Folklore, Religion and Decorations thumbnail

People are  being offered a chance to learn how plants are associated with folklore, religions and used in decoration through the ages.

A special event at the University of Leicester Botanic Garden also offers people the chance to make a Christmas wreath.

There is a guided walk of the showpiece garden in Oadby on Saturday Dec 5 starting at 2pm. Trained guides will lead people to explore the Garden’s collections of plants with special winter interest.

The cost is £15.00 per person, to cover tour, materials, tuition and refreshments.
