Support Leicester and Leicestershire this World AIDS Day

Support Leicester and Leicestershire this World AIDS Day thumbnail

LASS (Leicestershire AIDS Support Services) is an independent voluntary organisation based in Leicester, working in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.  We work with local partners to plan awareness raising activities and promotion for World AIDS Day on December 1st.

Our theme this year is “HIV – Reality”. We can provide packs of posters, cards and ribbons so that you can participate in the World AIDS Day awareness in 2009 and help spread the message of the reality of HIV.

Our postcards have a space for people to write a message about what the reality of HIV is for them. We encourage you to complete one of these and send it back – the message of World AIDS day then spreads through the postal service as well.

Part of our plans are to encourage as many people as possible to provide photographs of themselves wearing red ribbons to display on our website.

Would you be able to contribute your own photo?
Photos can be e-mailed directly to Tom Robson, LASS Company Administrator, at tom@lass.org.uk, or posted to Tom at the address above.

Could you encourage other people to get involved?
