Leicestershire Together Week

Leicestershire Together Week is a series of events across the county which will showcase the work being done to deliver on the commitments set out in our Sustainable Community Strategy. A wide range of topics will be covered, with presentations, workshops, tours and demonstrations providing a snapshot of the broad range of work being done in partnership across the County. December 7th-11th, 2009

Monday

• Rural Project Tour Asfordby Village Hall 12pm
• Suicide Awareness Melton Road, Leicester 1pm & 2.30pm
• Inter Faith Forum: Social Cohesion County Hall, Glenfi eld 6.30pm
• Financial Inclusion Samworth Centre, Melton 11am

Tuesday

• Strategic Commissioning: Changing how Leicestershire Together will work County Hall, Glenfi eld 9am – 4pm

Wednesday

• Delivering results locally: Earl Shilton Community House and a tour of locality Hinckley From 9am
• First Contact: An introduction County Hall, Glenfi eld 10.00am – 11.00am

Thursday

• Leicestershire 2009: Including CAA Report launch and presentation on Total Place County Hall, Glenfi eld 10.00am – 2pm
• Multi-Access Centres: An introduction County Hall, Glenfi eld 2pm

Friday

• Building Stronger, More Cohesive Communities Thornton Village Hall 11am – 2pm
• How to use the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) Holywell Park, Loughborough University, Holywell Park 9.30am – 11am
• Physical Activity Strategy Launch 11am – 2pm – same address as above.
