Giving the Homeless a voice

Giving the Homeless a voice thumbnail

A homeless charity has launched a new website and magazine, written by the people it helps.

Action Homeless, which is based in St James Terrace, off London Road, Leicester, launched the two because it wanted to give homeless people a voice and provide them with journalism experience.

The magazine, called Upwards and Onwards, was produced with the support of the Citizens’ Eye community news agency, in Leicester. The website includes a news section, online forum and information and advice for people.
