led by Gulzar (Christina Lausevic)
Venue: Quaker Meeting House, 16 Queens Rd, Leicester LE2 1WP
Booking essential – Limited numbers

To help launch the first ever National Inter-Faith week in the UK, come and participate in sacred dances where we join in a circle singing sacred phrases inspired by the different spiritual traditions.  These simple body prayers are a powerful way to experience the heart of many spiritual traditions and to draw upon them for inspiration.

Gulzar, who is travelling down from Newcastle upon Tyne for this event, loves to share the dances along with other breath /sound/ movement practices to help bring us to deeper presence with ourselves and each other. For her the dances have been life changing and bring great joy and connection. She believes that when we can come together to truly honour each others’ prayers and the sacred in all the spiritual traditions of humankind, we can create peace in the world. This is meditation in action, using simple devotional movements, linking the individual with the deeper aspects of their being.

No experience necessary.  All are welcome.
