This year’s UrbanXpress project starts on 27 July and is fast approaching.
If you know of any young people aged 13-19 who are interested in music/arts, are looked after, living in supported housing or who are not in education, employment or training, please let them know about this opportunity.   We only have 20 places available.   They will need to fill out an application form (attached), but attendance is free and we will be able to refund bus and/or train fares.   For more information you can speak to Joe, Chris or Jen on 0116 2702706.

A week of urban arts and music for young people aged 13-19 who are in care, living in supported housing or not in education, employment or training. Work with professional artists and producers at Soft Touch studios and get the opportunity to perform and showcase what you’ve achieved at a club night at the Victoria Park Pavillion on Friday 31st July.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS OPENING CEREMONY
Three days of workshops with the FUZED summer school at Sir Jonathan North Community College will culminate with   performances at the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony at the Walkers Stadium on July 25th.

SOFT TOUCH AT SUMMER SUNDAE FESTIVAL
Soft Touch will be running the family area at the festival over the weekend of 14-16 August.
Drumming workshops and building giant sculptures will be on offer for familiies to get involved.

MUSIC AND GRAFFITI WORKSHOPS AT NEW PARKS YOUTH CLUB
