Volunteer Marketing Assistant

Ansaar, a Leicester based charity specialising in helping adults with Learning Disabilities and Carers has a need for a Volunteer Marketing Assistant.

The role is ideally suited to a student in Marketing who would like to gain valuable hands-on experience working in the voluntary sector. The role entails working within a team of staff and volunteers to publicise and promote the good work of Ansaar. You will be in charge of press releases, communications, newsletters, website updates and keeping a database of key stakeholders, volunteers and sponsors etc

The role should require a committment of 2 – 3 hours per week, flexible with your other committments and can partly be done from home. The person should be a self-motivated individual, familiar with the necessary IT packages, have good communication skills and be able to be creative, working on their own initiative.
