Leicester Play Strategy

Leicester’s Play Strategy has been developed through extensive consultations with service providers, children and young people. It has drawn on the national and local developments, strategies and policies that could affect play.

The strategy is a reflection of Leicester’s aspirations for and a commitment to play for children in Leicester. In its development, attention has been paid to the process as well as the product. Partnerships have been forged and diverse service providers have talked to each other about what is important for children’s play in Leicester.
