Dimple Patel, the CSV Action Producer at BBC Leicester said: “We are looking for an incredible young person aged 16 – 25, to volunteer full-time from July for up to a year, to lead the Agents 4 Change youth volunteering project.”

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, achieve things and use the media to recruit and promote your activities.

What is Agents 4 Change all about?
You will be the Agent 4 Change for Leicester, one of 20 Agents across the country. Over the next year you will make contact with 300 other young people and find out what interests and concerns them, and develop local volunteering opportunities to get people involved in making a difference to local communities.

Help will be at hand, so don’t worry it’s not all down to you!

You will have a budget and support to make things happen. You will also get to know the 19 other incredible young people working on the same project and can swap ideas and solutions. Help will be available living costs too.

When does the project start?
Now! If you really want to do it but aren’t sure you can manage a full year – tell us what you can do.

Where would I be based?
Part of what CSV does is work very closely with the BBC to use media to promote volunteering and community action. You would be based at BBC Radio Leicester so there will be loads of opportunity to get to know about media and broadcasting.
