Refugee Week 2008 - 16th to 22nd June

Refugee Week is a UK wide programme of events which celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK.
Events will be taking place in Leicester & Leicestershire and Citizens Eye will have all the details over the coming months.
During Refugee Week hundreds of events exploring refugee experiences take place across the UK. These range from small community and school activities to art exhibitions, political debates, film screenings, conferences, big music festivals, sports events etc…
Anyone can get involved in Refugee Week either by organising or visiting an event or by just spreading the word!

Has anyone thought of a blogswarm for refugee week - where bloggers all blog and link to one another through a core blog on the same day?
I’m not sure where to suggest this, however.

Thanks for the blogswarm suggestion. I’ll mention it at the next meeting of the Leicester Refugee Week Steering Committee and see if its something they want to be involved in. Can’t see why not! Citizens Eye would be happy to help you promote it across Leicester City and Leicestershire County.
